Teacher Gifts!

Journal books, idea prompt jars, and the pen and glue stick to pull it all together!

It has a cute little poem in the front about how they are supposed to pull a journal prompt from the jar each day and glue it in the journal and write their response and when they are finished they will have the story of their journey as a teacher, and how they will realize how important they were not only in the lives of our children but of all the children they have taught. I added a picture of each of the boys in their teachers book and I used some papertrey ink stamps to add some cute teacher sayings to lots of the pages through the book.

I didn't take pictures but I covered the whole book in different school papers from the grade school stack by die cuts with a view (available at jo-ann's and Hobby Lobby) and I used gaffer tape by 7 gypsies from www.scrapsupply.com to finish it up. The inks are Close To My Heart. The journal books are from Office Depot. Jars, ribbons and buttons are from Hobby Lobby.

I covered the glue sticks with paper too and I don't like these pens so I'm planning to get the ones I can insert paper into so it all coordinates.

I cut the paper strips apart and did a ribbon curl on them. You can find the questions on the papertrey ink site from her blog on October 8th. Her project is completely different in color scheme. I'm doing these for two preschool teachers so I wanted them to be bright and fun.

I still have to decorate the bags I'm going to give them in and make a card, but this gives you and idea of what I've been working on! :) Marla
