I saw this quote in Creating Keepsakes this morning in Lisa's note at the front of the magazine. It was originally quoted by Dale Cook.
Since the largest part of our family is in the cemetery we go fairly often to visit. Anyway I love this quote. I didn't get any farther in the magazine yet because Granny and I went to take the boys for lunch in Hopkinsville. As soon as I saw the cover of the magazine when we got back home I remembered the quote again so I thought I'd post it here. It makes me think about years from now when our grandkids are looking back at the books we made and the stories we saved they will feel like they know us just a little bit better than they otherwise would. Another reason to scrap- like we needed another reason, but you get the idea! :) Marla
"Next time you drive by a cemetery...stop and take a minute to think about those who came before us. they had families too, dreams of their future, for their children, of generations to come. We are the reality of those dreams. We owe it to them to remember them."
