cardstock organized in cropper hopper vertical paper holders- the colors I don't use often- oranges, yellows, grays are on top of my new storage cabinets. I reorganized the paper in these 12x12 drawers and each drawer has a paper line- mostly basic grey- each is labeled and has the paper, matching embellishments that I bought to use with it. I also have my swaps with those lines on top of the paper so I just pull out the drawer and have everything in one place.
a better view of my dots on the walls- lots of them are covered by the drawers. I found anything round I could in the house and traced around it then painted them in. somehow all the pink dots were covered by furniture.
punch storage on the wall going into the kitchen.
my scrap area.
hubby got these cabinets from his work- they were going to be trashed and he brought them home and I cleaned them up and distressed the front of them and now they hold all sorts of goodies. My label maker is one of my favorite things- I'm using it on everything!!!
my odds and ends wood stamps that are still on blocks.
the drawers under the desk are swaps organized with the coordinating paper- by theme. the big drawers of them behind my chair are all BOY themed and I'm working on sorting those into page kits. The wheeled bin next to my chair is page kits with pictures- I do three books so my page kits are kind of big to get all that stuff in there. and wait, is that part of the actual floor that I see???!!! lol!
completed pages ready to go into books- sorted by year. the brown box is completed pages waiting for pictures and the top bin is completed pages that I just need to get a picture printed to call them done.
I sorted most of my patterned papers into baggies and added cardstock and any embellishments that I planned to use with it. I spent several hours color matching things but I knew it would make it easier when I'm ready to scrap.

this is the boys play area in the kitchen. I've taken it over to get my stuff tagged for the parents of multiples consignment sale we have coming up soon.
twin boys require lots of clothes~
this part of the room is still somewhat in order.
lots of the Fisher Price Little People have migrated to our house for the winter!
this table next to my new cabinets had been a real trouble maker for me. It was not handy for someone to sit at to crop due to the orientation of the legs. I had it sitting next to my scrap space and it ended up being a catch all and a place to drop junk. I decided to clear off the table where I keep my cricut (wishblade is in the back room with the computer) and make it easier to have space to use it. I moved my CTMH papers that my girls can buy if they need them to this table and now it serves a purpose rather than collecting junk. completed pages and class ideas are in the baskets below. the green basket holds patterned paper and cardstock kits, the basket on the stool holds patterned paper and cardstock kits too. the only patterned paper that I have left that isn't matched to cardstock is in the white wooden bin below my stamp pad storage. Cardstock colors that I don't use a lot went in vertical holders on top of the cabinets and the tv got moved up higher and is actually easier for everyone in the room to see now and the boys can't punch buttons so that is an added bonus.

the big long table that was on this wall is in the kitchen right now and will eventually end up in the computer room. I'm planning to keep it folded up and the chairs sitting with it and I'll bring it out only when I have friends over to scrap and need extra space. Pokey and Ashley still have their places just like before, but I know one of my problems is when I see a flat surface I cover it up so I'm taking away that problem!
Cricut area. The picture is going to have magnets placed on the back and be hung on the shelf above it so it's up and out of the way. I'm thinking about moving my laptop and wishblade here too but none of the girls I scrap with use it so I haven't decided what to do just yet. I'm still amazed to be seeing a clean desktop!
I moved the fridge over and put these drawers that have cards and things in them beside it. This bunch of drawers had been on top of that long table that I removed. I don't use these items often so it works out better to get them out of the way. I cleaned up a lot of stuff and reorganized the shelves above too.
I need to print some pictures to go in the dvd cabinet... the rolling cart has my CTMH stamps in the top two drawers and stuff that I like to take with me to scrap in the bottom- extra blocks, flowers, odds and ends. I cut the color dots out of my CTMH catalog and put them on my organizer and it makes it easy to know where to put things back. the white bin of paper below my ink is the only paper that I have that isn't color matched with cardstock. My tote that I take when I crop with friends came filled with goodies from Sam's club a few months ago. I love it because it holds my paper trimmer easily and has tons of pockets. It fits perfectly on top of this rolling cart so I love that! The cart came from the furniture section at wal-mart for around $30 and you assemble it yourself. it's really handy- two rows of CTMH stamps can fit side by side in each drawer so it holds a ton of sets.
I realized just because it was organized once doesn't mean it has to stay that way, so I moved my drawers around and put the things I use most right at my fingertips. I think being organized will be an ever changing process for me. I love these drawers. I got them at wal-mart and target and they were all different colors so I spray painted the bases to make everything match. that spray paint for plastic works great. Everything is labeled. The drawers with a color name have brads, eyelets, buttons, bows, jewels, anything I have that color so when I know I need a red accent I know where to look and I see all my options at one time.
my desktop- room to actually work- it's a miracle!! I'm pulling out stuff for a crop at the end of the month so I've got more stuff out than usual. I do like to leave something in progress on my desktop. I guess it's weird, but it gives me a place to start rather than looking around at blank paper for an hour before I get anything done. that might be weird, but it works for me! ;) the other things at the top of the picture are my dehumidifier that I keep going all the time and the space heaters we use when we scrap.
AND NOW..... for the stuff you weren't supposed to see!! the junk I'm still working on. Some of it is CTMH product I've pulled out for classes I'm teaching, lots of it is empty bins and containers that I'm trying to decide if I need to re-purpose, etc. It's still a work in progress but I'm getting there. I took out lots of stuff and completely re-did things so it seems like I've been working on it forever. I guess it's not too bad since it's hard for me to get down there since the scraphouse is separate from our house, but I'll sure be glad when all the mess is gone. I have a big stack of plastic bins and boxes in the kitchen that I have cleaned out and reorganized into other areas. I found that I had some things too detailed in the sorting when I did it originally so losing some of those bins and things has freed up some extra space.

My new goal is to try to keep myself from shopping and dropping off my stuff to be put away the next time I have a chance to be at the house. That got way out of control and snowballed into a real mess. I don't intend to let that happen again!
I didn't take pictures of Pokey's scrap area since it hasn't changed- Ashley's is still the same too once I get my junk out of the way. If you want to see those areas just go back to some of my Jan. posts and you can see what things looked like after our new year's eve cropfest!
I'm open to suggestions and I'd love to hear your comments, so post away! :) Marla
